Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus

Mikhail V. Myasnikovich

M.Myasnikovich was born on 6 May 1950 in the village of Novy Snov, Nesvizh Rayon, Minsk Oblast.

In 1967, he left with a certificate of honours the Snov Secondary School. In 1972, he graduated from the Brest Engineering and Construction Institute, in 1989 – Minsk High Party School.

He began his working life as a technical engineer at the State Research and Development Institute MINSKPROEKT.

1973 – 1983 work as an engineer, principal engineer and on executive positions at municipal services in Minsk
1981 M.Myasnikovich was awarded the Order of Honours
1983 – 1984 Head, Sovetsky District Administration, Minsk
1984 – 1985 Deputy Head, Minsk City Executive Committee
1985 – 1986 Secretary, Minsk City Committee of the Communist Party of Byelorussia
1986 – 1990 Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the BSSR
1990 – 1991 Vice-Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR – Chairman of the State Economy and Planning Committee
1991 – 1994 1st Vice-Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus
1994 Candidate’s Degree in Economics
1994 – 1995 Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus
1995 – 2001 Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus
